The Use of Multimedia Applications for the Development of Language Training Linguistic Devices in the Teaching of German as a Foreing Language

The thesis deals with the implementation of modern technologies and multimedia applications in the teaching of German as a foreign language. The first part of the thesis focuses on defining the theoretical background. Important concepts are introduced to better orientation in the problems of the thesis. Furthermore, the role of technology in society and also in teaching is described. At the same time, this section presents the theoretical findings on the use of modern technologies during the Covid-19 pandemic and a comparison of the frequency of their use before and after the pandemic, that is, at the present time. Finally, the advantages and pitfalls of using modern technologies in teaching are described. A list of multimedia applications that can be used in the teaching of German is also provided. In the next part of the thesis, which is based on quantitative research, we analyse the results of a questionnaire survey conducted with pupils and teachers of upper primary and lower secondary schools. The results show that pupils and teachers are generally positive about the use of modern technologies in teaching. Illustration in the current children's book and the possibilities of its use to develop the creativity and speech skills of preschool children.

This bachelor thesis is focused on illustration in contemporary children's books and the their possibilities for developing creativity and speech skills in preschool children. The aim of this thesis is that activities using selected illustrations support the development of creativity and speech skills in preschool children. The theoretical part focuses on contemporary conception of preschool education, development of creativity and speech skills, characterisation of the term creativity, speech skills and illustration, their keystone, meaning, and use in preschool education with regard to requirements set by the Framework Educational Programme for Preschool Education. The practical part includes two programs created using different children's books. The presented activities derive from selected illustrations and together they form interlinked programs. The both programs were proven in a kindergarten. Each program was evaluated using children's opinions and self-reflection. During realisation, methods of observing, interviews, and analysis of the results of the activities were used.
Topical information about German speaking countries and their contribution to the development of speaking skills

This thesis is undertaking current information about german speaking countries and function of these information in development of discourse facility. The objection of the thesis is to draw a file of excercises which would be most suitable for tuition of german language. The introduction will contain objections and propositions which will be then later specified in the main part of the thesis. The main part will be composed by two parts, theoretical as well as practical. The objection of the theory part is to achieve a knowledge about Landeskude field and the manner of work with information about country. The practical part will contain ten excercises which will be used for development of the discourse facility. The subject scope of these will be information about german speaking countries. The excercises in the practical part are dedicated to the advanced students, or eventually can be used by tutors or those interested in german language as such. At the end of the thesis, the outcome will be summarized and reviewed.

Title: Using elements of art education in teaching German as a foreign language (with a focus on drama pedagogy and work with picture book "Queen of Colour" by Jutta Bauer) Summary: My thesis is focused on integration of aesthetic elements into a German language lesson. Such elements help to improve students' language resources and language skills and they also help to develop their personality. The subject of my work is relation between the language and art - particular art education, namely dramatic, musical, and literary - partly - art education and their application in a foreign language lesson. This thesis is based on the theory of drama pedagogy and on analysis of an authentic foreign language literary text, namely on the picture book genre. The topics in the practical section are taken from artistic sources and were tested in particular sample lessons. Development of Speaking and Singing Skills of Children Based on Musical Fairy-tale in a Kindergarden

The target of diploma work is to verify possibilities of methodical work in a kidregarden which will conect all aspects of pre-school education together based on a musical fairy -tale. The development of speaking and singing skills wiil be in a center of an atention of the work. Theoretical part of the work will contain explanation of basic musical- psychological expressions in conection with each ethaps of children evolution in a pre-school education. A Special emphasis will lay on a development of motorical, listening, musical, singing and speaking skills. Beside musical and musical-motion activities, dramatical genres will be used. There will be planned a project ( musical fairy tale) in which all points of contemporary pre- school education will be used. All these points will be defined and shortly characterized. In the second part will be introduced project that will have a target to verify how much it is possible to influence speaking and singing skills by musical fairy-tales. Everything will be concepted on a base of holistic aproach in the RVP frame.
The issue of error in the written discourse of Russian speakers (an analysis of the Czech texts)

In our diploma thesis we deal with mistakes in written discourse of Russian speakers. We are trying to explore the mistakes of Russian speakers on the materials of the Czech language and create several lingvodidactic recommendations about how to interpret the topic and how to prevent mistakes. We indtroduce a plentifully used communicative method for teaching foreign languagues and discribe four basic language skills. Learning Difficulties and Foreign Language Teaching - Lower Secondary Schools

This diploma thesis focuses on foreign language teaching to children with specific learning difficulties (LD) at Czech lower secondary schools. It aims to define learning difficulties and describe their causes and manifestations in developing individual foreign language skills and sub-skills. Moreover, the work with these children in the school environment is mentioned and the Czech system of educating them is compared to the French one. The practical part surveys the opinions of foreign language teachers on this subject and analyses the techniques they use with these pupils. Special attention is paid to the differences in the approach of teachers at schools with classes specialized in the tuition of children with LD, schools with extensive language teaching and schools with no specialization. The results indicate that the majority of teachers agree with the integration of pupils with LD into mainstream schools and they favour their exemption from second foreign language study. The individual types of schools differ mainly in the approach towards the presentation of new grammar, in the types of exercises used for the development of communication skills and in the forms of testing and evaluation. Using Children's Literature in Teaching English at Elementary Schools

of the thesis The dissertation thesis deals with the problem of using children's literature in teaching foreign languages at elementary schools. It frames the topic by Czech curricular documents and constituents of the teaching-learning process, provides a historical survey and lists the genres of the children's literature. It characterizes the skill of reading in foreign language teaching and deals with the position of the literary text and lesson planning with children's literature within the foreign language teaching process. Attention is also paid to children's literature as the constituent of the pre-service teacher training. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether children's literature is used in foreign language teaching at elementary schools, whether contemporary textbooks use it, how it is perceived by in-service and pre-service teachers and last but not least what children's literature in the teaching-learning process of foreign languages has to offer. Research tools used for the purposes of the thesis were questionnaires, observations, specially prepared teaching materials based on literary texts and analysis of a textbook. Using Multimedia for Suppotring Listening Comprehension at Students of French Language

The dissertation thesis deals with the skill of listening comprehension and using multimedia for its support in the French language teaching process. The issue is studied within the context of Czech curricular documents. It classifies language skills from the point of view of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The process of listening comprehension is described in linguo-didactics from the historical point of view and as a process of language communication. Attention is paid especially to listening comprehension in foreign language teaching. The thesis focuses also on methodical procedures when developing and reinforcing this language skill. Integration of multimedia with respect to varied learning styles and strategies is described. Styles according to the perception preferences and listening learning strategies are focused on. The aim of the thesis is to find out what is the position of the listening comprehension skill in the French language teaching process at upper-secondary schools, what is the success rate of the students in the process of comprehension of the spoken language, whether multimedia can contribute to successful comprehension of the spoken language in a foreign language.
